Fiscal/Academic Year End Reminders for Pay Period 6/29/2020
The following are important dates and deadlines within the next two weeks:
Ongoing
- MSS FY/AY 21 Faculty & Appointed Notice of Appointment/Reappointments are not available, - Workforce Systems will communicate when these contracts become available for generation.
- Annual discretionary pay change moratorium is in effect from May 18, 2020, through June 30, 2020.
- Moratorium on all job changes (transfers, promotions, and compensation increases) for all non-student employees remains in effect until July 31, 2020. Attach the approved waiver request to the MSS New Hire and MSS Job Change requests.
- Moratorium on FY20 Perm/Next Year Budget Changes in effect (June 12, 2020 through June 30, 2020).
June 29, 2020 - Monday
- Furlough-Based Salary Reduction and Personal Flex Time Days Begin for University Staff/Classified Staff
June 30, 2020 – Tuesday
- FY20 - end date
July 1, 2020 – Wednesday
- FY21 - start date
- Furlough-Based Salary Reduction program begins for academic employees paid over 12 months (9/12 Pay Option)
- FY21 (Fiscal) 7/1/2020 PAF's Available in Analytics for Review
July 2, 2020 – Thursday
- MSS Position Distribution Requests Must be Approved for FY21 (Early deadline for positions subject to Furlough and Furlough-Based salary calculations)
July 4-5, 2020 – Saturday/Sunday
- Workforce Systems will run a pay reduction process to automatically update compensation for those subject to the Furlough-Based Pay Reduction Program (Fiscal and 9/12 Pay Option)
July 6, 2020 – Monday
- FY21 (Fiscal) 7/1/2020 PAF's Available in Analytics for Review for University Staff, Classified Staff, Graduate Assistant/Associate and Student Workers
- Begin generating MSS FY21 Graduate Assistant/Associate NOA (Fiscal) by Dept/College List
July 10, 2020 – Friday
- MSS Position Distribution Requests Must be Approved for FY21 Pay Period End 7/12/2020 (Standard deadline for positions not subject to Furlough and Furlough-Based Salary calculations)
