We would also like to pass along these additional reminders about the Job Change Moratorium:
- All non-student job changes related to internal transfers within a department, external transfers to a new department, compensation and FTE increases, and promotions within the same position (incumbent review) are subject to the temporary change in recruitment and hiring practices and require an approved waiver from the applicable Senior VP.
- All job changes related to expected end dates, working titles, FTE reductions, opt-in to University Staff, and conversions from extended temporary staff to regular employment are not currently subject to this temporary change in recruitment and hiring practices.
- Please note, while FTE reductions are not subject to the temporary hiring changes, you must reach out to your assigned Sr. HR Partner before processing a transaction. Your Sr. HR Partner will advise you on the implications of the FTE reduction and make recommendations, if necessary.
- Job Changes are to be made effective 7/1/2020 or after; the annual pay change moratorium is in effect.
- For faster processing, include your approved waiver form with the MSS transaction.
